Homeowner in England gets more than a home shelving system.
October 19th, 2007 | by admin |A homeowner in England got more than he bargained for when he was installing his home shelving system. He planned to rip out an existing wall and replace it with a shelving unit that would house his television and stereo system. He just wanted a little more living space, but he received much more. Inside of the wall, that he tore down, was a box. When he opened the box, he found several composition books and reels of film. He assumed they had belonged to one of the many previous homeowners. He was simply going to toss the box out with the trash. A friend, that was helping with the project, insisted that they inspect the items more carefully. Inside the composition books were song lyrics. Someone had apparently written some of the lyrics to many of the Beatles’ popular songs. Neither man thought much about it, until they previewed the films. They were home movies featuring John Lennon and Yoko Ono. The compostion books were not partial lyrics written down by a fan. They were partial lyrics written by John Lennon - before the songs were even complete.
