Conversational Hypnosis Techniques Have Been Around
June 23rd, 2008 | by admin |I first observed what might have been conversational hypnosis techniques when I was hospitalized in 1958 in a small town in Louisiana. A young girl in the same ward was afraid to have a glucose needle inserted in her arm and one of the doctors had studied hypnosis in France as part of his medical training. He hypnotized her and she began laughing at the funny cartoons on TV. It being 1958 there were no TV’s in the hospital and as she watched the non-existent cartoons the staff inserted the needle and that was that.
