The Mallicoats sold that shop, moved to Hillsboro, and started over with the mail order Comfortable Adco covers in a tiny 144-square-foot shop near Hillsboro Airport. Soon they moved into a shop, where the business remained for about three years. Their sales soared, but Jo Mallicoat said they missed face-to-face contact with customers.So, it was on to pizza. Through Hillsboro friend John Gundle, who had opened a chain of stores called Papa Aldo's, the couple found themselves waist deep in tomato sauce as the new owners of Hillsboro's outlet.
