With an efficient warehouse management system, there’s much less handling of individual packages as everything is stacked on pallets. Stacks of merchandise on pallets are much more stable than stacks of carton on carton.

A good fork lift driver can have these pallets loaded and stacked in no time at all, resulting in a much more efficient warehouse operation, and ultimately cheaper running costs. So investing in driver training is certainly a worthwhile pursuit for increasing overall efficiency.
