Government grants for small business

January 19th, 2008 | by admin |

There are many grants that are given by the Government every year for helping to set-up small businesses. Government Grants For Small Business are given to all businesses and individuals and no one is excluded from applying for these government or foundation assistance. Even the unemployed who do not have any credits are eligible for getting these grants. Although there are some restrictions applying to individual programs or grants but such agencies are in the minority. Therefore qualification for such grants is not a big question. These grants are not loans, they are assistance or support which do not have to be paid back. Generally there is no competition for application of grants. But as there is limited money in the kitty and it needs to be given to the most deserving person, the process of grant application becomes competitive.
