A project to incorporate lifecycle management
February 4th, 2008 | by admin |I’ve just been asked to head up a strategic think tank to review the organizations operations. The company has recently announced a new mandate to cut costs and improve operational output. The ultimate aim of this task force is to make recommendations for the drafting of a new life cycle management plan. We are required to make a holistic study of the inputs and outputs of the manufacturing process to better utilize resources. Profitability is the major motivating factor but we are required to assess social and environmental considerations and to recommend tradeoffs.
