Oklahoma Office Personnel Management - Associated Agencies

September 25th, 2008 | by admin |

The agencies associated with Oklahoma office personnel management are categorized into two parts based on their guidelines and positions that they offer to state employees. The first category refers to the agencies that work according to the merit system. Positions, employees and agencies belonging to this category are called classified. Merit Rules of Personnel Administration and Oklahoma Personnel Act govern the removal and selection procedures for everything included in this category. On the other hand, the next category is unclassified or Non-Merit System agencies. There are no defined terms and conditions or recruitment procedures for employees in this category.  The Oklahoma OPM handles a great many personnel management issues for the government - if you have a government job in Oklahoma, you may well find yourself dealing with them.
