the two types of Vehicle Tracking Systems

September 10th, 2008 | by admin |

There are two methods in  vehicle tracking systems . They are the active system and the passive system. In the active system, all the details such as the location of the vehicle, its speed and also triggers an event such as on or off state, doors opened or closed state are stored in the tracking devices. Once the vehicle comes to a predominant position the device is removed and the data is downloaded for comparison.  The passive system does not store all these information rather it sends all these details through a satellite or through the wireless devices. Both these methods in Vehicle Tracking Systems are useful in taxi business.
