They would lose their shirts. And the people who bought the bonds would make a tidy profit.

Remember that those bonds were issued years ago by the government. The only real effect they would have on _current_ bond issues would be a very short term drop in price because all the investors are taking advantage of the stupidity of the OPEC countries and buying those older bonds at prices way below their true value.

And what, pray tell, would they buy with them?

Yen?

Rubles?

Dinar?

Pesos?

The end-game maneuver here is to be the one with the most vibrant economy when the house of cards crumbles.

That would be China. But China’s market is the US. So when we go down . . . they go down.

It’s now how much money a country has, it’s how they’ve invested it.

Infrastructure doesn’t yield much of a return. Capitalization of business does.

Raw materials, agriculture, industrial might and technology will be key to who’s got a chair when the music stops.

catalina island is reeally fun! i went there one and ifelt like i was on clouds. it was comfortable becuase everyone was in bathing suits:] the restuarants there were also cute and pretty. the view was the best though. it depends on where u live. if u live in CA or anywhere there, it will be cheap because u go on a boat and it takes u there…but if u live on the other side of america, it will cost a lot to go toCA and then to boat…i hope i helped! good luck

maybe if you could give some idea of where you are starting from — I assume the US — but distance affects travel costs, so it would be easier to give you some suggestions if we knew if you were East coast, south east, northwest etc

and give an idea of your budget — ‘cost alot’ can be a few hundred to a few thousand or more.

so let us know if we should be looking for bus trips or international cruises

i’ll recomend you Europe or maybe Egipt but no matter where you go…it always going to be expensive…but good luck
