T1 Point to Point Only with Known Brands

July 7th, 2009 | by admin |

Sharing a high speed connection across a delocalized LAN can be a big pain. Keeping data transfer rates with minimal errors over a T1 point to point system requires a bridge from a quality brand. There’s no point in hooking up a T1 leased line in the first place if you get some third-rate ethernet connection between your computer systems. Cisco makes a great bridge and they’re a quality electronic hardware systems company. I’d definitely ask an IT professional before buying some unknown brand.
