What do you learn in Esthiology course?

I have been thinking about going to some type of beauty school, and someone I know suggested that I look into an Esthiology Course. Can anyone tell me exactly what is contained in this kind of course? I really want to figure out what I would learn and what types of jobs I would be eligible for with a course like this. I am also interested in learning more about how long the course would take and where I could find a course like this. Is there some group that approves these types of courses that would have a listing of where all I could study?
