Pope & Talbot Inc. File Bankruptcy in U.S

The famous pulp and lumber company Pope & Talbot Inc. filed chapter 7 bankruptcy in the United States.
This Portland-based company had made a distinct mark as a solid company in the past but its solidity was crushed by the housing slowdown n the U.S. segment.

The company is in peril because of its cash shortage so if financing isn’t harnessed soon, Pope & Talbot would be left with no choice but to completely shut down and liquidate its assets. Day after day, such worst-case scenario is popping up throughout the U.S.
