The Homeopathic theory of disease explains ailments as being caused by miasma, or disease causing agents that are brought about by one’s own state of mind. These diseases can then only be treated by inducing a diluted substance which in undiluted form would cause similar symptoms. This is the so –called law of similars. The idea is to find substances that cause symptoms that are similar to the disease and give diluted solutions of the same.
