Beeper Pagers: A Modern Way To Communicate

May 10th, 2009 | by admin |

As the parent of a soon-to-be teenager, I’ve come to the realization that the way our kids currently communicate is extremely far removed from the way we stayed in touch with our friends. When I was a young person, the only way to talk to your buddies was either in person or on the phone. Nowadays, however, the game has completely changed. There are cell phones of all shapes, sizes, and flavors; not to mention the litany of Beeper Pagers, satellite pagers — many of which with alphanumeric capability. It’s all rather new and amazing to me. I can only surmise how my grand kids will be chatting with each other.
