Should I Have Collectible Knives and Swords in Homes With Children?

Many studies of children committing crimes indicate that the weapons were obtained in the home. While collectible knives and swords may not be used in specific events, it is important to realize any type of weapon is fair game. Therefore, it is best to simply not have collectible knives and weapons in the home if you also have children. If you still want to have these weapons, it is best to store them in a bank or other location where your child cannot gain unauthorized access to them.
