Can a California employer make it mandatory for its outside sales representatives to work 6 days a week?

We are outside sales reps that are not paid a salary or an hourly wage, we are commission based. Can they force us to come in on Saturdays, according to California Labor Laws?

lets just put it this way, they cant force their employees to do anything that they dont want to do. but dont expect to have a job the next day….if california is an “at will” state you can be fired for any reason or no reason at all at ANY time

California is an at-will state which means there aren’t too many restrictions on what your employer can do. Saying that, your employer can make you work six days a week and can make you work on Saturdays. That being said, you have the right to terminate your employment at any time as does your employer.
